What About Grace?
Believers in Messiah often agree that faith is required for salvation, yet misunderstandings about grace, faith, and the Law are widespread. Many false teachings claim that Messiah abolished the Law when he sacrificed himself and that salvation comes by grace alone. As a result, many believers fail to distinguish between manmade religious laws and the commandments given by our Creator, YeHoVaH, to govern life in His Kingdom.
False gospels are widely accepted across religious congregations. Scriptures are often taken out of context to support doctrines that Messiah and his disciples openly opposed. Manmade laws, religious traditions, and human doctrines have survived centuries and translations, promoted by leaders who reject Messiah's true gospel of repentance, faith, and Torah obedience. In the process, personal responsibility and genuine relationship with the Father have been lost.
The Hebrew Messiah, Yeshua, came as mankind's permanent sin sacrifice to reconcile us to YeHoVaH because we failed to keep His commandments. Yeshua demonstrated how to live in right relationship with the Father through Torah obedience, faith in the Word, the power of the Holy Spirit, and walking in obedience with him. He did not come to establish a church or preach modern religious gospels. YeHoVaH placed His Words and Laws in Yeshua's mouth for us to hear and obey. Messiah is the living embodiment of the Law and cannot be separated from it.
Manmade laws were indeed done away with, but the Laws of our Creator remain. Believers are called to understand true grace, keep YeHoVaH's commandments, rely on the Holy Spirit, and walk faithfully in obedience today.
