On more than one occasion, the super sleuth mystery writer has found herself in ticklish situations, very tight spots where she comes close to becoming yet another murder victim.

But, as you already know, the Police arrive just in time to haul away the bad guys and Mrs. Fletcher escapes without nary a scratch on her fifty-nine year old, still shapely body.

But, let's just suppose that this scenario doesn't happen as always, and the cops don't show up in the nick of time.
