Brigid is a talented healer in the town of Muirstead. At twenty-eight, she is weary of what her life has become. Her best friend, Treena, a member of the Protector's Force, has also felt a longing for something more. Together with Azran's priest, Evander, they are drawn into the prophecy and into another world.
